Black Circle
Our Story
Black Circle is a small live venue and craft beverage producer opened in 2016 on 46th St in Indianapolis, Indiana. The venue space is located in the Double 8 warehouse, now called Refinery 46, on the Midtown / SoBro fringe.
Our production facility is located just three blocks away as a separate maker-space concept called Loom. We produce craft beer and spirits right here on 46th street.
Our focus has evolved over the first few years to offer not only house made local beers but also an excellent selection of other local breweries. In February 2022 we began producing our own spirits as well. We also carry wine, cider, seltzers and a selection of domestics.

Q: What are the kitchen hours?
A: Although they are generally open when we are open, Beacon Off The Path functions separately from Black Circle. Please visit them on social media or on the world wide web for more details.
Generally they open each day at 5pm.
Q: Can I get Black Circle Beer for carry out?
A: Yes, we currently offer carry out Crowler cans filled and sealed on demand. Please NO GROWLERS.
Q: Is Black Circle an all-ages venue?
A: Black Circle is all ages unless otherwise stated. Beacon Off The Path located next door is family friendly, and the same bar menu is available. Children and dogs are welcome on the patio and lawn. We also have our pinball games in the Beacon dining room area.
